The Yarn, Unity Theatre. Theatre Preview. Tuesday 18th – Wednesday 19th September.

After a successful time at The Edinburgh Fringe, Mate Drama Workshop return to the Merseyside theatre arena with The Yarn, the play that earned them a four star review from the SG Fringe, a highly entertaining and evocative production which is a fantastical patchwork of joyous tales, painful rituals and bizarre superstitions.

Written by Rob Brannen and Directed by Gaynor La Rocca  bring the story from beyond the haystacks, a dark comedy with original folk music, epic storytelling, heart-warming friendships and tender poignancy will leave audiences spellbound.

Mate Drama Workshop has a reputation for staging exciting, high quality productions in a wide range of genres; from new music theatre to adaptations of classic texts, from social community drama to site-specific promenade theatre.

Tickets for The Yarn are on sale now and available from The Unity Box office on Hope Street, via telephone on 0844 8732888 or on line at unitytheatreliverpool.co.uk. Tickets are priced at £8 with concessions available at £6.
