Campus Style: Freshers Fair

Like every year last Sunday’s Freshers Fair (or Welcome Fair, or whatever it’s calling itself these days, I can never keep up) was absolutely hectic and chock full of new and returning student. Some looking every inch the fashion forward student, so it was only right that the first Campus Style feature was at the fair.

Disco pants are everywhere at the minute, and the Freshers fair was no exception. Versatile and stylish I think we can all agree these girls look great in theirs.

Nice to see not everyone is as much of a wimp as I am when it comes to denim jackets. Also with that biting wind that the city is known for having returned with a VENGEANCE knitwear is a must, and there are some brilliant examples available on the high street, just look at these girls.

However, if chunky knit isn’t your thing, take inspiration from this stylish student. Teamed with a bit of embellishment round the neck, something that was seen all over the place in AW12 this ticks all the boxes.

It’s not just the girls that brought their A game on Sunday. I love the colour of this cardigan, so much so I might have to nick it (or find it in the shop – whichever’s easiest). It is a brilliant winter colour. The bold print on the t-shirt also prevents a drab look to match the weather and was seen a LOT in menswear collections last year.

There were also lots of amazing looks that unfortunately I didn’t capture on film because, well, I’m not the world’s greatest photographer BUT it’s plain to see that we have a very stylish campus.

Campus Style is going to become a recurring feature on LSMedia so look out for me running around with a camera and you may well see yourself on these pages in the not too distant future!
