Grand National Tickets On Sale Now

The countdown to the 2013 John Smith’s Grand National at Aintree began in earnest today, with tickets for the showpiece event now officially on sale.

All tickets and badges for all enclosures went on sale at 9am this morning and are available to buy online at www.aintree.co.uk. Telephone orders will be accepted from tomorrow.

A fortnight ago, private box and restaurant packages went on sale, as well as season tickets and 2 and 3-day badges. Unsurprisingly, these have already proved very popular.

Demand for this event is always high and the 2013 Grand National is expected to be more popular than ever. A record smashing 154 000 racegoers attended the 2012 John Smith’s Grand National Festival and after an Olympic two weeks in London, ticket sales are expected to soar.

In fact, Aintree temporarily experienced some issues with their online sales earlier today. However, The Aintree Insider, Aintree’s official Twitter alter ego, soon tweeted:

Pleased to inform you that the ticketing system is functioning normally. Thanks for your patience.

Every year is a sell-out, so get booking now to avoid disappointment: https://aintreetickets.thejockeyclub.co.uk/online/#
