Top Ten: French Sole Ballet Pumps

Whilst it may be wedge season in shoe world, a girl can never go without a good pair of pumps and so this week’s top ten brings you the very best in ballet pumps. After buying a pair of French Sole pumps over four years ago I have never considered any other pump brand! Whilst they may be a little on the pricey side of a student budget they are a high quality pair of shoes (made by the oh-so-cool and fashionable French, who could expect anything else) and whilst the first pair I bought have now, devastatingly, gone to shoe heaven, I think four years for one pair of shoes is a very good life span. French Sole is a ballet pump brand which offers every variety of flat from Lowcut, for those who want to show a little toe cleavage, to Sturdy a shoe perfect for any event.

1. Harriet Pink Punctured Nubuck Ballet Pumps

Pink, spotty and accentuated with bright blue edging these ballet pumps are fun, fresh and definitely cute. These are best paired with jeans.

2. Harriet Purple Crocodile Effect Patent Leather, £115

Dark and seductive the patent leather is sleek yet gothic. Best worn with tights and a killer dress!

3. Henrietta Beige Yacare Suede Ballet Pumps, £115

The perfect everyday  ballet pump. Soft, subtle yet intricate patterning.

4. Hortense Red Leather Ballet Pumps, £104

In true Parisian style the red ballet pumps had to make it on the top ten list. Throw on a Beaton stripe Petit Bateau top and a pair of cropped navy pants and you will look the height of Parisian sophistication.

5. India Leopard Ponyhair Ballet Pumps, £90

Leopard print has been around forever and whilst it is sometimes made to look, how shall I put it, a little bit trashy, these ballet pumps are anything but! Made with Ponyhair for the full fur effect these are trez unique.

6. Lowcut Lilac Nubuck Ballet Pumps, £82

Pastels are big this season but if like me you aren’t so keen on the pastels colours then these ballet pumps are a nice way to incorporate pastel shades without having to go the whole hog!

7. Henrietta Alberche Pink Crocodile Ballet Pumps, £115

My current favourite pair of pumps and next purchase I believe! Crocodile print is my all time favourite print; paired with the bright magenta colour these will definitely stand out on the streets of Liverpool.

8. Simple Grey Vipera Snake Ballet Pumps, £90

Classic, simple and chic, enough said.

9. Harriet Mint Green Crocodile Suede Ballet Pumps, £115

Yet again another daring contrast of colours from French Sole but it definitely works for me.

10. Sturdy Beige Nubuck Ballet Pumps, £90

These are a statement pair of ballet pumps ideal to wear with cute dresses to summer parties.

I hope I have convinced you that French Sole is the place to be for all your ballet pump needs. Happy shoe shopping!
