RAG Week raises over £200 in first day
Liverpool RAG has got its RAG Week off to a flying start by raising over £200 in the first day.
Events are being held on campus throughout the week to raise money for the Guild’s five key charities: Moving on with Life and Learning, Fair Bridge Merseyside, Team Oasis, Compass and Basement.
This is the first RAG week LGoS has seen since 2005, and has a fundraising target of at least £1,000.
Fundraising will continue every day this week:
Tuesday – Courtyard Carnival, 10am – 3pm in the Courtyard at LGoS
- Pub Quiz 7pm in the Saro Wiwa
Wednesday – Raffle, 12 – 2pm in the Courtyard
Thursday – Bake Sale, 11am – 2pm in University Square
Friday - Raffle, 12 – 2pm in the Courtyard
- Swap Shop, 10am – 4pm, Gilmour Bar
RAG Bol with also be available all week in the Saro Wiwa, at £4 with 50p going to the key charities.
Societies including BakeSoc, HitchSoc, ACE Africa and Oxfam have collaborated with RAG to bring together the week.
