LUDS To Stage Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus

This week, Liverpool University Drama Society will be performing of one of Christopher Marlowe’s great plays, Doctor Faustus.

John Faustus is a leading intellectual, consumed by the idea of infinite knowledge and boundless power. Faustus dabbles in the dark art of necromancy and summons up the devil, who offers him all he desires for the small matter of something in exchange.  Will Faustus give into temptation and surrender his soul in the pursuit of knowledge and power?

Performances will take place on Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April at 7.30pm in Stanley Theatre at the Liverpool Guild of Students.
