CFDA Nominees
CFDA stands for the Council of Fashion Designers of America and it is an organisation which aims to protect America’s fashion designers as well as harnessing their talent. The annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision and lifetime achievement.

I am sure there will be an extremely extravagant award ceremony and after party with all the nominees and fashion elite in attendance. Although we’ve got a long time to wait as the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards don’t take place until Monday, June 4, I still can’t wait to see all of the dresses!
